AARP CIO Terry Bradwell to Receive 2015 Executive Management Award from Washington SmartCEO

WASHINGTON, DC — Washington SmartCEO has selected AARP Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer Terry Bradwell as a recipient of the 2015 Executive Management Award for his exceptional IT leadership at AARP. Through Bradwell’s “NEW IT” strategy, he has cultivated positive changes that have increased IT leadership engagement and encouraged IT staff to present innovative ideas. Moreover, he is helping to promote digital literacy among people 50-plus through AARP TEK’s local workshops, online training center and AARP’s new RealPad tablet.

The 2015 Executive Management Awards finalists collectively generate more than $6 billion in annual revenue and employ over 20,000 individuals in Greater Washington. This year’s winners will be profiled in the March/April issue of Washington SmartCEO magazine and celebrated at an awards ceremony on March 9, 2015 at the Sheraton Tysons.
