Secure website now accepting donations to aid victims

WASHINGTON, DC—In the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, which ravaged the Caribbean and southeastern United States with significant storm surge flooding, damaging winds and rains, AARP Foundation has created a Hurricane Irma Relief Fund to support the storm victims – especially those age 50 and older. They are joined in this effort by AARP, the Miami Dolphins and owner Stephen Ross. The three organizations will match contributions - dollar for dollar - up to $750,000, with 100 percent of the money raised going directly into the community to support victims of Hurricane Irma.
