AARP Announces The 19th Annual Movies For Grownups® Awards In 2020
  • The 19th Annual AARP The Magazine’s Movies For Grownups® Awards will take place at the Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
     
  • The awards show will recognize 2019’s best films and filmmakers, including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and more. The Career Achievement Honor is the evening’s highest award with previous honorees including Helen Mirren, Michael Douglas, Shirley MacLaine, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Costner, Susan Sarandon, Robert Redford, Sharon Stone and Robert De Niro.
     
  • The Career Achievement Honoree and Movies For Grownups nominees will be announced at a later date.
     
  • Co-produced by the Great Performances series, the 19th Annual Movies for Grownups Awards with AARP The Magazine will be broadcast on Sunday, January 19, 2020 on PBS.
