New data from Comscore commissioned by AARP found older audiences returned to movie theaters in great numbers in 2022, outpacing rates from even before the pandemic, according to the Comscore/Screen Engine ASI PostTrak Data.
AARP The Magazine has unveiled the winners of the 21st annual Movies for Grownups® Awards, featuring honorees from Abbott Elementary, Elvis, Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Fabelmans, The Whale, and more, as Top Gun: Maverick was awarded Best Picture/Best Movie for Grownups, the evening’s top honor. Tonight’s event, which was hosted by Alan Cumming, will be broadcast nationwide by Great Performances on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET on PBS.
Today, AARP announced the 140 banks, credit unions and financial advisory firms that qualified for a seal from AARP recognizing the steps they’ve taken to curb financial exploitation.
These 140 organizations represent a more than 20% increase in the number of seal recipients since 2022. A list of the financial organizations that qualified for the 2023 BankSafe Trained Seal can be found at aarp.org/banksafe.
